This Is Reno is your source for unvetted Reno news and information about the City of Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, the Truckee Meadows and beyond. We cover local events, politics, sports, government, education, music, art and business.
As the business of news is being radically transformed, and in some cases eliminated outright, we consider this an opportunity to present a new model of news and information dissemination, one that is based on community. We are primarily volunteer driven and do this for the love of information, news and our community.
We welcome quality news and opinion, as well as audio, video and images that relate to the Reno area. Thanks for stopping by.
